On June 1, 2022, Vertical Technik AG opened a concrete skate park in Rumilly, a French town located approximately 60 kilometers southwest of Geneva. The outdated modules of the old skate park, which no longer met the standards, were removed in January to make way for the new 700 m2 park. Thanks to the working group, which consists of elected representatives of the city administration, the youth city council, associations such as the Kamé Skateboard Team, the Rollerblade Club, the bicycle club, and some volunteer young residents, the project could be realized in such a way that it meets the local needs. With the concrete skate park in Rumilly, Vertical Technik has opened its fifth major facility in France. Further facilities are currently in planning.
