Description
A pole jam is an angled pole that protrudes from the ground. It is used to ride on and perform a radical jump. You ride over it not with the wheels, but with the trucks. An ollie is therefore not necessary to jump onto the pole. Grinds or slides are performed by positioning the skateboard crosswise or lengthwise to the pole jam. A pole jam is a challenging element in a skatepark.
