The municipality of Mutzig commissioned Vertical to develop a preliminary project in 2018. Vertical proposed a concrete flow park to complement the existing options in the region.
The project convinced the municipal council and was approved. The contract awarded to Vertical included drawing up the plans and preparing the tender. The Belgian skatepark construction company CVBA Skape was selected to carry out the work. In August 2019, the project was completed in just 5 weeks.
A corner quarterpipe and a rollin serve as inrun elements. In between are a curb, a volcano, a spine with a hip quarter pipe and a pyramid with a parking block. The special feature in the park is a wallride with a perforated plate. The local authority carried out the landscaping work itself.
The official inauguration of the park will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2019.
