In 2021, the municipality of La Wantzenau commissioned Vertical with a skate park planning project.
The design was developed in design workshops with the youth parliament, which is behind the project. The skate park, with an area of 252 m2, includes a street area and a mini ramp.
After the tendering phase, the work was awarded to the construction company DEXS Skateparks. In the function of construction management, Vertical accompanied the work and checked it weekly. At the same time, Colas, a construction company, built an asphalt surface for a multi-sports field.
The skate park was built in the spring of 2023, and the official inauguration of the park took place on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. The gardening work will be carried out later by the municipality.
