In 2023, the municipality of Burnhaupt-le-Haut commissioned Vertical to plan a modern skate park. Together with the dedicated youth parliament, the design was developed in creative design workshops. The skate park covers an area of 330 m² and offers both a street area and a mini ramp. Vertical Technik AG played a leading role in the tendering process, construction planning and execution planning.
After completion of the tendering process, the construction contract was awarded to the company IO Skateparks. At the same time, the company Eiffage realized an asphalt access road with an innovative, plant-based binder. This material is impressive due to its ecological sustainability and excellent permeability. Vertical took over the construction management, monitored the work and carried out regular quality controls.
The skate park was completed in autumn 2024 and is already open to the public. The official inauguration is planned for spring 2025. The final gardening work will be carried out by the municipality itself.
