Four Decades of FEST CUP: Europe’s Largest Skate and BMX Event Inspires Sports Fans at Sparda-Sportpark

The Sparda-Sportpark at the Europahalle has established itself as one of the most important stages for extreme sports in Europe. The annual highlight, the FEST CUP, once again attracted numerous sports enthusiasts and spectators from all over Europe to experience unforgettable moments full of passion, fairness, and sporting ambition. With an impressive tradition and a variety of exciting competitions, the event is considered the top event for skateboard, BMX, inline, and scooter riders in Germany and Europe.

The Miniramp – A Unique Highlight from Vertical

For the anniversary, a special configuration was set up for the Fest Cup. A spine miniramp with hip, extensions, and offset extensions, rarely found, offered a variety of trick options. The ramp was built by the experienced team of the organizers under the direction of two assembly managers from Vertical Technik AG in just one day.

For more than two decades, the FEST CUP has established itself as a fixed highlight in the calendar of European extreme athletes. Participants from various countries used the platform to showcase their skills, discover talents, and forge international friendships. The variety of sports, combined with a friendly atmosphere, made the FEST CUP a true melting pot of the European skate, BMX, inline, and scooter scene.

The competition was characterized by exciting contests in which athletes gave their all to win the coveted trophies. Whether close decisions, creative tricks, or emotional victory celebrations – the FEST CUP regularly provided goosebump moments. In addition to the competitions, the event offered numerous hands-on activities where visitors could actively participate and test their own skills.

Program Highlights of the FEST CUP 2025

From July 24 to 27, a variety of events, workshops, and competitions were on the program:

Thursday, 24.07: Arrival, registration, and practice at Sparda-Sportpark, followed by the first miniramp session for skaters, inline skaters, BMX riders, and scooter riders.

Friday, 25.07: Continuation of the practice phases, miniramp jams, and first competitions in BMX and skateboarding.

Saturday, 26.07: Highlight with contest and final rounds for BMX and skateboarding, as well as creative activities such as shirt design with StreetArt.

Sunday, 27.07: Inline finals, workshops for beginners, and open sessions. The day ended with award ceremonies and a cool jam session.
