Weesen – the municipality in the canton of St. Gallen, known as the “Riviera on Lake Walen” – has received a new street workout facility from Vertical Technik AG. Located on the western shore of Lake Walen, the facility offers various training options on an area of 67 m2 for athletes, fitness enthusiasts and other interested parties to let off steam outdoors.
The facility is also located very close to the Flyhorn lido, which means that street workouts and swimming in the lake can be easily combined in summer. The project was launched by the municipality and the IG “Fit in Weesen”.
On May 11, 2021, this facility will be opened by the municipality and handed over to the public.
