The city of Vevey commissioned Vertical to add a platform with tiered seating to the existing concrete skatepark. Additional foundations were laid, on which the steel structure was mounted. The seating areas expand the resting area for users, while also allowing friends to watch.
In 2023, Vertical designed and built a new concrete skatepark for the city of Vevey on the lake shore. The concept was developed in several design workshops with future users and the Riverside Association.
The skatepark offers innovative and original obstacles on a very compact area of only 273 sq m. It is a perfect blend of street and flow park. The location overlooking Lake Geneva is magnificent.
On September 20, 2023, the park was officially inaugurated by the city council. For the inauguration ceremony, the city, in cooperation with the Riverside Association, organized a varied program including a skateboard show and a musical aperitif.
