At the end of June 2016, the skate park was closed during the renovation of the Seehalde multi-purpose hall. The reopening with completely new skate park modules took place on June 2, 2018.
The design of the modules was created by Simon Stricker as part of a workshop with local youth. The skate park features a mini ramp, a pyramid with run-up elements, and various small obstacles. The skate facilities were manufactured and supplied by Vertical Technik AG.
