The official inauguration and opening of the newly built leisure facilities took place on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. This new Generationenpark complements the existing playground between Igis and Landquart, which is already very popular.
Vertical designed a state-of-the-art Generationenpark for the municipality of Landquart. After the planning phase, Vertical took over the construction management.
The project includes a pumptrack, a shelter with picnic tables and lighting, a street workout facility, a toilet, and a drinking fountain. To limit noise from music that could occur in the late hours of the night, earth mounds were created between the Generationenpark and the residential areas.
After 3 months of construction, the project has been a complete success since its opening.
