Ilanz/Glion focuses on innovative sports and leisure facilities: skatepark and pumptrack
In 2023, the Ilanz/Glion municipal parliament unanimously decided to build a modern sports and leisure area with a new skatepark and pumptrack at the Fontanivas site. Planning, including obtaining the building permit, ran until 2025. The area is intended to become an attractive meeting place and will provide facilities such as WC facilities and running water for the comfort of visitors.
The layout and high-quality skatepark elements, manufactured and installed by Vertical Technik AG, offer an exciting riding experience and make the skatepark a lively meeting zone for young and old. The pumptrack, developed and built by Think & Build Velosolutions GmbH, is another highlight of the project.
