On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, the time had come. The mini ramp was installed by the fitters from Vertical. On September 9, 2017, the municipality of Münchenstein opened its new and first street workout facility in the Welschenmatt district on Pumpwerkstrasse. A lively program was offered to visitors for the opening ceremony. Councilwoman Jeanne Locher performed the official handover.
Street workout is part of a healthy lifestyle. Due to the visibly strong use of such facilities, the project for a street workout facility was already initiated by youth work at the beginning of 2016.
Commissioned by the municipality of Münchenstein, we at Vertical Technik AG planned and realized this project. Production took place in our workshop in Frenkendorf BL, after which installation on site was possible within a few days.
We received positive feedback from users at the opening. The facility offers more training options than elsewhere. The choice of colors and materials was highlighted as very appealing. Overall, the project reflects a positive use of the facility, which is public and free of charge in an easily accessible location.
