Am Dienstag den 22. März 2016 war es soweit. Die Minirampe wurde durch die Monteure von Vertical Vertical hat einen Beton-Skatepark in Collonge-Bellerive bei Genf gebaut.
Der Skatepark befindet sich neben dem Kulturzentrum Epicentre. Er erstreckt sich über ca. 370m2 und besteht aus einem Flowpark und einem Street Bereich. Der Flowpark besteht aus Rundungen, Wellen und Hips. Im Corner ist ein Pool Coping aus Beton eingebaut. Im Street Bereich befinden sich mehrere Curbs, darunter zwei aus Granit, ein Manual Pd, eine China Bank aus roten Backsteinen, eine Hip Bank mit einem Granit Parking Curb und ein Rundrail aus massivem Granit. Das Gesamte Set Up ist sowohl für Anfänger als auch erfahrene Fahrer geeignet. Es bestehen viele Möglichkeiten um Lines zu fahren.
Background of the project:
Vertical was contacted by the Geneva association O.G.Skate in March 2016 to help design the future skate park in Collonge-Bellerive. The city commissioned Vertical to conduct a workshop with young people from the association who had already created a sketch of the project. The goal was to create a versatile skate park with a street and flow park that covers all skill levels. The China Bank with the red bricks and the granite elements bring a touch of originality to the project. The project was finally commissioned at the beginning of 2017 and work began at the beginning of May.
