Für das Kollegium Spiritus Sanctus in Brig wurde ein Nationales Leistungszentrum (NLZ) für Nachwuchssportler von der Vertical Technik AG realisiert. Das ehemalige Hallenbad St. Ursula wurde aussen nach den Richtlinien des Heimatschutzes saniert und innen an die Bedürfnisse der Sportler angepasst. Die Vertical Technik AG wurde als Totalunternehmung beauftragt, die Planung, Bauleitung und Ausführung innerhalb von nur 3 Monaten umzusetzen.
Die Eröffnung findet am 20. August 2018 statt. Ab diesem Datum werden folgende Anlagen im NLZ zur Verfügung stehen: Ein Skateboard Bowl mit einer Hip, ein Big Air mit Landing Airbag, ein Dry Slope mit Rail und Quarterpipe, zwei Eurotramp Grandmaster Trampoline mit Wall Walk und Pit Airbag, ein Five Square Trampolin, sowie ein 20 m langer Air Track, mobile Parkour Elemente von Cube, eine Slackline, ein Laufband mit Laserschiess- Einrichtung für Biathlon, ein Minitramp und eine Functional Fitness Zone.
The NPC remains reserved for the students of the Kollegium, and no public use is planned at the moment.
