In Lancy, in the Canton of Geneva, Vertical Technik AG built a skatepark in the spring of 2021 very close to the large football stadium “Stade de Genève.” The Skatepark de La Praille already existed, but it was dismantled and rebuilt by Vertical Technik AG. The very urban area with its typical asphalt groove is the ideal background to experience skating in its original form.
The skatepark consists of a skate plaza, curbs, banks, railslides, and quarterpipes. The skatepark is suitable for both beginners and advanced skaters and offers a variety of opportunities to get creative on the board.
Especially in an urban area like this, skateparks offer young people a good and meaningful leisure activity. With the skateboard, you can enjoy great community experiences in the open air.
