On March 1, 2021, the 314 m2 concrete skate park with street and bowl in Riddes, located between Martigny and Sion, was opened. The construction of this skate park took into account the need in the region for public open spaces and meeting zones. The impetus for the project came from three friends who were supported by a local youth worker in the implementation of their project. During several meetings between Vertical Technik AG and the Verein FlowRiddes, the skate park was developed in design workshops. Vertical Technik is pleased to have contributed to the quality of life of young people and the young at heart in the region with the concrete skate park in Riddes. Because the initiative for the project came from the circles of today’s users, the identification with the concrete skate park is particularly high.
