In the municipality of Kleinlützel in the Black Forest region of Solothurn, a group of parents, under the name Jugendraum, campaigned for a skate park. Previously, Kleinlützel had a wide range of facilities for children with three playgrounds, but there was a lack of suitable infrastructure for young people, which is why they made do with makeshift facilities, which was an unsatisfactory situation in the long run. The parents presented their concerns to the municipal council and obtained a quotation from Vertical Technik AG. Despite critical voices, the request was ultimately accepted. The small facility at the car park in front of the village church consists of a quarter pipe, a bank and a roof box. The skate park is already being used extensively by young people.
