In summer, Savièse was given a concrete skate park with a view of the Swiss mountains. The skate park was planned and built by Vertical Technik. The municipality with 7500 inhabitants is located on a sunny terrace at 820 meters above sea level. The view from the skate park extends over the entire Rhone Valley and the Swiss Alps.

The bowl with steel coping has a 1.4 m shallow end and a 1.8 m deep end. It is the first bowl in the Swiss Rhone Valley to be built from concrete on site. The area of the entire skate park is 236 m2 including street modules. The area for street is small, but there is a corner quarter pipe with curved steel coping, a China bank with spine, a pyramid and a curb. A taco, a bump and a curved parking block have been arranged around the bowl.
Next to the skate park is an asphalt pump track that is directly adjacent. The leisure area corresponds to a multi-generational park with activities for all ages. The activities next to the skate park and the pump track include a football pitch, beach volleyball, finned track, exercise park, street workout, playground, seating areas with a shade roof, a solar tree with charging station and WiFi, a water feature and a biotope.

Vertical Technik AG would like to thank the municipality of Savièse for its trust and excellent cooperation.
