Since November 2018, a new skate park has been under a car bridge in Delémont.
The highlight is a 17-metre-wide hip mini ramp that is 1.6 m high. Two 4.5 meter wide vert extensions were added, which go up to 90° and are 2.5 m high. This mini ramp offers a unique configuration in Switzerland, which magically attracts talented skaters from all over. The design was defined in meetings with local skaters.
The street modules cover an area of 550 m2 on newly asphalted ground. They include a skate plaza with polished granite ledges. The entire facility was planned and built by Vertical Technik AG and installed in just three weeks. Support was provided by two local skaters.
We would particularly like to emphasize that the local hero Batti has been working tirelessly on this project for years and has played a key role in designing the mini ramp. Vertical Technik AG would like to thank the city of Delémont for their trust and for awarding this special contract.
The skate park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., parking spaces are available and Delémont train station is just a 5-minute walk away.
